A New Chapter at Sea

There are moments in life when you feel a shift—a sense that something new and meaningful is beginning.

For me, that moment has led from the mountains to the sea.

I’m excited to share that I’ve begun a new position with Atlas Ocean Voyages, a role that allows me to combine my love of travel, discovery, and connection in a way I never imagined possible. With this new chapter comes the opportunity to experience some of the most remarkable places on earth—aboard small, intimate ships designed for exploration.

This blog, Voyages with Karen, is where I’ll be sharing that journey.

But more importantly, it’s not just about where I go—it’s about showing what’s possible.

Expedition travel can sound intimidating. Remote destinations, unfamiliar environments, long journeys. But what I’ve already begun to discover is that these experiences are thoughtfully designed, deeply enriching, and far more accessible than many people realize.

My hope is to bring you along—offering a glimpse into life aboard, the destinations we visit, and the moments that make these voyages so special.
